1.      Seminar organized: Organized a Three Day National Workshop sponsored by Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Vijayawada on ‘Physics and Technology: Modern Sensors Characteristics, Interfacing & Programming’ from 7th to 9th November 2019.
2.      Seminar attendeded: Mrs.T.Grace Eunice participated in a national seminar on “ Emerging Trends and Advances in Multi-functional Materials” from 10 th t0 11th December, 2019 organized bythe Department of Physics, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.

Faculty Development Programmes Attended

·         Ms.Santhi Sri Sudha, Dr. Sharon Samyuktha, Ms. Geetha, Ms.B. SudhaGayatriand Ms.Visali attended FDP on on 04.06.2019 by Dr.StephenChinnaswamy.

·         All faculty attended FDP on “Teacher as a facilitator of Learning” and “Programme Outcomes, PSOs and Cos” by Dr.MercyPushpalatha and Mrs.Jeya Abraham on 5th&6thJune 2019.

·         Ms.Santhi Sri Sudha, Dr. Sharon Samyuktha, Ms. Geetha, Ms.B. SudhaGayatriand Ms.Visali attended FDP - Two day Workshop on “ Capacity Building cum Faculty development”  by Dr.SandhyaTiwari on 29th& 30th July, 2019.


·         Ms.B. SudhaGayatriunderwent a training programme on “Moodle Software ”by Dr.IndiraKonneru from 8th to 9th November, 2019.

·      Dr.G.LittleFlower, Ms.P.Padmalatha, Ms.T.Grace Eunice,  Ms.Santhi Sri Sudha, Dr. Sharon Samyuktha and Ms.B. Sudha Gayatri participated in a seminar on Principles and Practices in Teaching / Learning excellence on 4/10/19 by L.S. Ganesh, prof. IIT Madras.


·         Dr.G.LittleFlower and Ms.P.Padmalatha attended an FDP: Workshop on “Constructive alignment and Outcome Based Education” on 25th& 26th, October, 2019.

· Ms.B. Sudha Gayatri underwent training in a three day workshop on “LMS - MOODLE” by Dr. Indira Koneru” from 8th to 9th November, 2019.

· Ms.B. Sudha Gayatri completed a five week online course on INTRODUCTION TO TECHNOLOGY ENABLE LEARNING by commonwealth of learning and athabasca university, Canada during October, 2019.


·         Dr.G.LittleFlower, Ms.P.Padmalatha, Ms.T.Grace Eunice,  Ms.Santhi Sri Sudha, Dr. Sharon Samyuktha-IPR, attended a Workshop on “Intellectual Property  Rights” on 16th November, 2019

·         Dr.G.LittleFlower and Ms.P.Padmalatha attended an FDP: Workshop on “Designing Effective Assesment Practices and Digital Technology” on 2nd & 3rd December, 2019.

· Ms.B. Sudha Gayatri completed a four week online course on INTRODUCTION TO MOODLE - 3.8 BASICS by commonwealth of learning, Australia during February, 2020

Students Performance


1.     1.   Ms.T.Likitha Santhoshini from III MPC and Ms.S.Asha and Ms.M.Divya Bharathi from III MPCS did Summer Internship at Efftronics Systems Pvt.Ltd., Vijayawada from22nd April to 7th june, 2019.

2.      2.   28 students completed a certificate Course on “Digital Design Using Verilog HDL” from 22nd to 27th April, 2019 offered by the department of Electronics and Communications of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering& Technology, Vijayawada.


1.      3.   30 students completed a certificate Course on “MATLAB” from 29th April, 2019 to 5th May 2019 offered by the department of Electronics and Communications of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering& Technology, Vijayawada.



1   4.   25 students completed MHRD Supported Hands on Training on "Home Appliances"
          at SIEMEN'S Skill Develoment Centre, Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology,         Vijayawada from 26th October to 2nd November, 2019.

5   5.  Ms.V.Madhuri Sai Latha, Ms. S.Sowjanya and Ms. R.Mahima Priya from II MPC participated in a     five day training on “Mini Physics Training and talent search programme” at KBN College,       
         Vijayawada from 16th to 20th December, 2019.



1    6.   12 students participated in various competitions organized by P.B.Sidhartha College, Vijayawada on 8th January, 2020 and won prizes.

8.  Nineteen students took part in various competitions conducted by the department of Physics, Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada with the title Resonance 2020: A National Level Academic Fest on “Space Physics” on 30th  and 31st January 2020 and won many prizes.


     9. Extension Activity
      Dr.V.Sharon Samyuktha, Lecturer in Physics along with 5 advance learners from III MPC took part  in an extension  activity and promoted experiential  learning through demonstration of Physics Experiments at MPUP school, Kuntamukkala,  Vijayawada. The experiments demonstrated  were Reflection, Refraction, Meaurements by Vernier Calipersand Screw Guage. Using LASER and Torch light the concepts of divergence and coherence were also illustrated. The school students were enthusiastic and were able to understand the  concepts of some topics in Science. This interaction  promoted  passion for  learning  science among school children.
